Speaker needed for July 9th presentation to cover long-term care medicine
As part of a Town Meeting event on July 9 in Jacksonville, FMDA is also planning 3-hours of educational programming.
We have an exceptional speaker covering a 2-hour session on risk management as it pertains to falls and accidents in the nursing home.
At this time, we are looking for another 1.0 hour session, from 1 to 2 p.m., from a speaker who would like to cover an area of interest that relates to long-term care medicine. If you have an interest in speaking, or know someone who does, please call Dr. Carl Suchar, Chairman of the Board, on his cell phone at727-480-3373. In the meantime, please save the date, July 9 in Jacksonville, and look out for more details to come.
In addition, if you are considering submitting a proposal to be on the faculty for our Best Care Practices in the Geriatrics 2011 conference, you only have until the end of May in which to submit your online proposal at http://www.bestcarepractices.org/call-presentations.html
Please let me know if you have any questions.
